A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), iniciou, nesta sexta-feira (19), a implantação de playground e iluminação em LED na Praça Isabel Linares Ascêncio, localizada na Rua Manoel Lopes, na Vila Hortência, Zona Leste da cidade. A previsão de conclusão é de até 150 dias.
As melhorias no bairro serão executadas pela empresa W2 Engenharia e Consultoria Ltda., com recurso de emenda impositiva do vereador Fernando Dini. “A parceira entre Executivo e Legislativo permite implantações e melhorias importantes para a população. Vamos aproveitar um espaço público para oferecer mais lazer aos moradores do bairro”, destacou o prefeito Rodrigo Manga.
Na ocasião, o prefeito esteve acompanhado do secretário municipal de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), Darwin de Almeida Rosa; de Mobilidade (Semob), Carlos Eduardo Paschoini; de Comunicação (Secom), Rodrigo Alcântara; de Gabinete Central (SGC), Evandro Bueno; de Planejamento e Desenvolvimento Urbano (Seplan), Maurício Campanati; e de Governo (Segov), Sergio Barreto. Também estiveram presentes o diretor-geral do Saae/Sorocaba, Glauco Fogaça; o diretor-presidente da Urbes, Adriano Brasil; o ouvidor-geral do Município, Giovane Neves, o líder comunitário Daniel Saidinha, o vereador Fernando Dini, assim como o engenheiro da W2 Engenharia, Azor Prado.
Durante a solenidade, os moradores tiveram acesso a serviços, como ginástica laboral com o grupo do Parque dos Espanhóis, aferição de pressão e exames de glicemia e atendimento na unidade “Médico na Praça”, pela Secretaria da Saúde (SES), além de participarem do Bazar Solidário, iniciativa do Fundo Social de Solidariedade (FSS), além da distribuição de mudas pela Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema).
